Newman Sports Association

The Association was formed in 1985 with the building of the Newman Sports Complex which overlooks the sporting grounds at Newman College, Marcellin Campus.  This gave the foundation clubs rooms a base from which to operate. With the building of the Newman Physical Education Centre in 1991, the number of member clubs grew to eight.

The Association enjoys excellent training and competition facilities for all its member clubs. The clubs are community based, inviting participation not only from Newman College students, surrounding schools and past students, but also from the wider community. The College and the Association believe in the philosophy of sharing facilities and making full use of them.

We encourage students of Newman College and those of surrounding schools to play for clubs within the Newman Sports Association. pdfNSA Booklet 2017
