Year 9 Emmaus Day

As part of the College Faith Development Program all Year 9 students will participate in Emmaus Day.
The program is facilitated by the Faith and Liturgy Co-ordinator and assisted by the RE staff members. The day focuses on the student’s personal journey through life, where they have come from and where they see themselves in the future.
The day is centred around the scriptural story of "The Road to Emmaus" [Luke 24:13-35] and enables students to reflect on the role of God in their life, while recognising those "God Moments". Students will be engaged in a range of activities including meditation, group discussion/sharing, team building exercises and a group Liturgy.
Brigid, Romero, Camara and Marcellin Guilds will participate in the program on Monday 26 October with Chisholm, Thomas More, Catherine and Mackillop participating on Tuesday 27 October. Normal classes will run for those guilds not involved.
The students will come to school in their Guild uniform, attend Pastoral Care Group then move to either the Sports Complex or the College Chapel as instructed.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries
