Year 7 Mother's Day Mass Highlights

Today the weather cleared long enough for the Year 7's to celebrate Mothers Day with a Mass and morning tea on the College grounds.

The Mass, lead by Fr Joe allowed students to reflect and be thankful for the role their mother and other significant women in their lives have on them. Fr Joe spoke about magic vs miracles and shared his story about being a refugee and surviving the journey from Vietnam to Australia. The congregation also heard from Mr Finneran who spoke about being 1 of 7 children and the unconditional love he has for his mother.
Following Mass, students and their families gathered in the Founders Court for tea/coffee and refreshments which were kindly supplied by the Yr 7 families.
Many thanks to all who contributed to the lovely morning.
Dean Robinett, Head of Year 7
