Year 6 Parliament House Excursion Highlights

On Thursday 19 May, the Year 6 Unit went on their Civics and Citizenship Excursion. The three classes rotated between visiting Parliament House and the Constitution Centre where they learned about elections and voting as well as the three levels of government. The students were lucky enough to be attending Parliament on a sitting day, getting to see the politicians in action. Classes were also met by our local member Hon. Sean L’Estrange during our visits to Parliament House.

Thank you to the parent volunteers from the three classes who helped out. The students thoroughly enjoyed their day and represented our College proudly.
