Year 6 Micro-organisms Project

As part of our unit studying micro-organisms, Year 6 are discovering how much sugar is in different drinks by adding liquids to yeast and measuring the amount of carbon dioxide that's produced when the yeast reacts with the sugar (by how much the bag inflates over time). The experiment has been conducted with using Coca Cola, Red Bull, Ribena, Cordial, Gatorade, Up & Go, Apple Juice and Orange Juice.
