Year 3 Red Christmas Decorations Project

Year 3 Red Christmas Decorations Project

Year 3 Red was invited by The Town of Cambridge Library to assist them with getting into the Christmas spirit by participating in their recycling project, inspired by Wanneroo Museum's Festival of the Trees.

This project involved students to make their own Christmas decorations from recycled materials, promoting recycling in the local community. Students were engaged and actively thought about reusing materials in a fun way. They have used various recycled materials such as paper plates, cardboard from various boxes, cups, pegs, plastic bottles and more.
Students used their creative skills and were innovative in producing amazing Christmas decorations such as peg angels, paper wreaths, beaded ornaments, aluminium foiled reindeers, foam snowmen and a range of baubles.
Next Thursday, 3 Red will decorate the 2.3 metre Christmas Tree in the Cambridge Library and Floreat Forum Shopping Centre. Their wonderful recycled creations will be on public display throughout December.
