Year 10 Remar Red Leadership Camp

On Thursday 13 October, our Red Caravel departed for Melbourne to embark on our first interstate camp of our Remar journey. We were excited at the prospect of making some new friends, and deepening our bonds as a Caravel. Our trip began with some free time to enjoy the sights of the city before we travelled to Phillip Island for the commencement of the Red Retreat.

At the camp we were joined by over 100 other students from Marist schools throughout Australia and had the privilege of participating in a number of activities that allowed us to explore and deepen our faith as well as enabling us to form meaningful connections with others. Highlights included our participation in activities such as small group discussions, morning aerobics and Taize prayer. The camp culminated in us celebrating Mass together and sharing our Caravels journey through an energetic performance during Caravel ShowTime.

The camp has allowed us to develop leadership skills, create new friendships and solidify our bond as a Caravel. It is an experience we will cherish forever.
