Year 10 Italian Excursion

This year the Year 10 Italian Language Class decided to have their own ‘Italian’ experience right here in our own backyard. Mrs Sampson and Miss Demma took us to Amico Cafè in Stirling to enjoy one of Italy’s best known meals: wood fired pizza.
On arrival, after much discussion over which of the many great pizzas to pick, we made our choices and ordered them using our best Italian. The portion sizes were truly Italian - ‘grande’ (big) and some of us struggled to finish ours. However, we all managed to find some room for freshly made gelato or sorbet for dessert! All the food was “buonissimo” (very good) and the gelato was “eccezionale” (exceptional).
We all found the evening thoroughly enjoyable and we are very grateful to Mrs Sampson for organising the evening and dealing with all the formalities. Also, we would like to thank Miss Demma for helping supervise us. Another thank you goes to Amico Cafè for our discounted prices and supplying us with such beautiful food! We would all recommend a visit there and we as a class are looking forward to returning there in the future! The night was lots and lots of fun!
Arrivederci a tutti
