Term 1 Week 8: From the Principal

IMG 4534As we enter the final weeks of Term 1, the growth and development of our students as young people continue to impress. We have commenced this year with learning tours for prospective families. These tours are led by a member of the Senior Leadership Team and four students and occur on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Marcellin / Lavalla Campuses and Wednesdays at Marian Campus. The strength of these tours has been our ability to display our faith and learning across all facets of the College. Each prospective family gets the opportunity to talk to our students - to see and hear their experience of their individual Newman story. What also is on display is the quality of our teachers. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated cohort of experts who collaborate, connect and create wonderful learning with and for our students across the College. Building enrolments into the future is critical to our ongoing success and celebrating our commitment to excellence daily is exemplified during these tours. Moreover, what we celebrate is a community imbued by a Marist spirtuality that places Christ at the centre of our intent and ambitions for our students, teachers and families.
