Term 1 Week 10: From the Deputy Principal | Learning and Staff Development

Kelly Simpson

The role of technology in our learning as professionals and in our ambition to engage our students is ever changing and endless with possibility. We have a responsibility to orientate and immerse our students into a digital landscape so that they are safe, positive and responsible citizens who can filter and discern the integrity of the information they can readily and easily access online. Choice of device, software, apps and accessories are at the centre of our learning, teaching conversations and planning. Anywhere, anytime learning support by technology is a reality for our students and our staff alike.

This system-wide initiative aims to connect students, teachers, principals, resources, support networks and parents, to foster a powerful social learning community and equip students with the 21st century technologies and deep learning skills they need to reach their full potential.

Essential to the logistics and operations of this initiative is a change of email address for staff at the College. Our email addresses now follow the pattern

The College website will be updated to reflect these changes.
