Odd Socks Day Fundraiser

On Friday 23 October, students are allowed to wear ODD SOCKS to school (try mixing footy socks with spotty socks). The Year 8 students will be organising a cake stall at recess near B block and students will also be able to buy charity wristbands and ribbons for $1 and $2.
The Odd Socks Day is in support of our Year 8 student, Jasmin Beale’s stepbrother Mitchell. Mitchell is in recovery from Sarcoma which is a child/adolescent cancer which usually effects people’s limbs – hence the ‘ODD Socks’. Mitchell and his team are taking part in the RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER to raise funds for this particular cause which accounts for 10% of child and adolescent cancers.
