Marist Youth Festival 2017

The Marist Youth Festival (MYF17) is a vibrant national four-day celebration of Catholic faith, expressed through the Marist charism, where young people aged 18-25 are inspired to deepen their relationship with God and strengthen their desire to serve as disciples of Christ and agents of change in today’s world.

Through creative workshops and inspiring keynote presentations, together with dynamic prayer and worship experiences, MYF17 invites you to delve deeper into contemporary issues of faith and justice and learn what it means to be Marists for today; young men and women who are grounded in prayer and action with a love for God, humanity and all creation.

MYF17 is a project of Marist Youth Ministry Australia, conducted on behalf of the Marist Association of St Marcellin Champagnat. Four Year 11 students; Anika Powers, Chris Heelan, Beth Redwood and Joseph Kavenagh will be attending to represent Newman College and will be accompanied by Mrs Rebecca Bramanto, Mr Daniel Lynch. Michael Heelan and Molly Rafter (both Newman College Class of 2016) will also attend.
