Marist Cricket Carnival Update

On Monday, the 43rd Marist Cricket Carnival was officially opened with a Mass in the St Joseph's Chapel. We then had our official photos followed by a BBQ dinner. From there, all of the boys were introduced to their billets for the week before heading off to their homes for a good nights sleep.
Competition commenced Tuesday and unfortunately we lost our first two games to Sacred Heart College, Auckland and Lavalla College, Traralgon respectively. There have been positives to take out of both games but the bottom line is we need to score more runs as our bowling and fielding has been very competitive.
We are looking forward to a big game on Friday against Alice Springs!
The boys attitude and behaviour can not be faulted and they are building a strong bond together, hoping this translates to success on the pitch.
