Lachlan Poor to continue his Quarter Back dream in the U.S

Lachlan Poor to continue his Quarter Back dream in the U.S

Year 10 student Lachlan (Lachy) Poor has been accepted at Cardinal Newman High School in Florida next year as a Quarter Back in their Football Program.

Lachy was advised by the Australian junior coaches that, in order for him to have a chance at playing College football in his position (Quarter Back), he needed to move to the U.S as soon as possible.
After approaching various coaches, Lachy and his family selected Cardinal Newman as the school is a good fit both academically and athletically. The head coach is also a former NFL Quarter Back and seemed very enthusiastic with Lachy's style of play and personality.
Lachy currently plays in the Western Australian state squad, The Raiders and is training for the Junior Nationals to be held in Perth in April 2015.
He is aiming for a spot in the Australian National team when they tour the U.S next year, and hopes to play in the World Cup in 2016.
We wish Lachy all the best with his move to Florida and every success with his football career.
Bernie Boss, Principal
