IPSHA Touch Rugby Carnival

On Thursday 10 November selected Yr 6 students will represent Newman College at the IPSHA Touch Rugby Carnival at John XXIII College.

The students will be travelling by bus, departing Newman at 9.00am and returning at 2.30pm. The competition will commence at approximately 10.00am and conclude at 2.10pm.

The IPSHA association is a group of schools that meet during the year to provide friendly competition between students in various sports. The focus of these interschool co-educational events is on participation. No final nor individual game scores are kept. It is about giving children the opportunity to display skills learnt, promoting fun and enjoyment, encouraging everyone to participate and highlighting the importance of fair play.

As it is an interschool fixture, all children must wear their full sports uniform (light blue striped polo shirt). Children also need to bring their own morning tea, lunch and a drink on the day.
