Monday 2 June
This day is a public holiday celebrating the Foundation of Western Australia. Families are encouraged to enjoy the day with their children, celebrating all we have in our beautiful State. Classes commence at the usual time on Tuesday 3 June.

Marcellin Champagnat Feast Day
On Friday 6 June, the Primary School will be celebrating the Feast of the Founder of the Marist Brothers Marcellin Champagnat. In the afternoon there will be Buddy activities where the Years 1 and 2 students work at the Lavalla Campus and the Years 3 and 6 work at the Marian Campus. Parent Information Session on Reading in Pre Primary
Earlier this week Paola Rich, Assistant Head of Primary, and our Pre Primary staff presented a very informative session on reading at the Pre Primary level. A number of parents attended to gain valuable information on how they are best able to assist their children at the start of the reading process.

Parent Information Session on Writing
Year 2 parents were invited to attend an information session focusing on the writing process. Parents were given some very valuable tips and pointers on how they can best assist the teacher with this process ensuring the best possible outcome for the students.

Marian Campus Photos
On Friday 30 May, the Kindy to Year 2 students will be having their annual photos taken. It is essential students wear the correct uniform on photo day. As the Uniform is currently in a state of transition, details of what each year level need to wear can be found under the Coming Events and Latest News section.


Year 3 Paraliturgy
This week children in the Year 3 unit were presented with their certificates confirming they have completed the learning component of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We wish them well when they receive the Sacrament for the first time at their local Parish.
