MARIST MISSIONS AND LAPATHON
Recently, as part of the Feast of the Assumption, the Primary School held a Lapathon to raise funds for the wonderful work the Marist Brothers and Lay people do for the developing countries all over the world. This year the Primary School, across both campuses raised a very generous $9,270.35. This is as a result of the support and encouragement of our families for their children. The funds will go to two schools in Cambodia and Pakistan, to assist in giving children in very disadvantaged situations the opportunity for an education and to gain skills to help them with a better outcome in life. Thank you to all our families for this generous support of the Marist initiative.

JUMPS AND THROWS AT THE LAVALLA CAMPUS
This week, the students from Years 3 – 6 participated in the Annual Field Events element of the Athletics Carnival. Students had a wonderful time giving their best efforts in all events, managing to sever old records. The students are very much looking forward to a sunny day on Friday when the track events will take place. This will be held at the Marcellin Campus oval commencing around 9.15am. Thank you to all parents who assisted with Jumps and Throws and to those who will assist us on Friday.
