PK-12 Feast of the Assumption Celebrations

The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary commemorates the death of Mary and her bodily assumption into Heaven. Because it signifies the Blessed Virgin's passing into eternal life, it is the most important of all Marian feasts.

Marcellin Campus
An Assumption Mass will be held in the Gym for all Years 7-12 students on Tuesday 15 August.

Marian and Lavalla Campuses
K-6 students will be celebrating the Feast of the Assumption at the Lavalla Campus on Friday 18 August.

Marian students are to be dropped by their parents to the Lavalla Campus and will spend the day at Lavalla.

• 9.15am: PK-6 Mass in the Marist Auditorium (Concelebrated by Fr Joe Tran and Fr Patrick Lim – Administrator of Wembley/Floreat)
• Recess
• Activity #1: Assumption Activities (with Buddies)
• Lunch
• Activity #2: Lapathon (Lavalla Ovals)
- Fundraising for Marist Solidarity Australia (MSOL)

Marian students can be collected from 2.15pm (with siblings at Lavalla being able to go home at the same time) to assist in avoiding unsafe congestion in the Lavalla carpark at the designated pick-up time.

We look forward to celebrating this significant Feast as a community.
