AFL career a little closer after Jeremy makes the NAB AFL U18 Academy Squad

AFL career a little closer after Jeremy makes the NAB AFL U18 Academy Squad

Year 12 student Jeremy Goddard recently represented Australia against New Zealand on Anzac Day as part of the NAB AFL U18 Academy Squad, winning by 88 points!

Jeremy, who is a ruck man for the Claremont colts, was one of six West Australian's to make the squad and has now been selected for the state U18 try outs where AFL scout's will be watching him play. Current AFL players such as Fyfie from Freo, Hodge from Hawthorne and Franklin from Sydney (and many others) have gone through this system which prepares them for the rigours of AFL football.
We wish Jeremy all the best with his future training and development and look forward to seeing him playing in the AFL competition sometime in the near future!
