2015 High Achievers Assembly

2015 High Achievers Assembly

Yesterday the College recognised the efforts of the high achievers of the graduating Class of 2015 at the annual High Achievers Assembly.

The 15 former students were congratulated for their commitment, hardwork, diligence and effort in their studies over the 13 years of education.

Principal, Mr John Finneran directly spoke to the group, telling them to make their lives extraordinary. "You should recognise and celebrate the time you had at this wonderful College but your learning has only just begun," he said.

"Hold onto that love of learning, of hard work and of academic excellence. Consider the responsibility you now carry - to be an active citizen, moreover a person who continues to seek and know Jesus Christ".

The event was held in the Marist Auditorium where the group gathered in-front of their families, former teachers and 500 Year 7, 10 and 12 students.

Current Year 12 students were also recognised for their exam achievements from the previous year.

Following the assembly, the High Achievers and their families enjoyed a morning tea.
